Mental Health & Well Being

The Rural Health Partnership raises awareness of mental health and well-being, by providing a range of programmes that cover personal exploration and practical self-care tools. 


Programmes include:  


  • Be Positive (Mental Health Awareness) 
  • Five Ways to Wellbeing 
  • GEM (Gratitude, Empathy & Mindfulness) 
  • Hopeful Minds 
  • Teen Mindfulness for Exam Stress 
  • Bounce (Resilience for Young People) 
  • Living Life to the Full (CBT approach) 
  • Stress Awareness & Management 
  • Menopause Matters 
  • Coping With Farm Pressures 
  • Resilience through Photography 
  • Dementia Awareness.  


In partnership with PIPS: 


  • Mental Health First Aid 
  • Suicide Safer Communities 
  • ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)  
  • Shoulder to Shoulder and Safe Talk (Suicide Awareness)


In partnership with the Recovery College:


  • WRAP (Well-being Recovery & Action Planning)


We also provide a Social Prescribing service which addresses social, emotional and practical needs by connecting individuals to sources of support within their community to improve their health and well-being.
